How to dress, what to wear for your dance lesson,

We recommend that you wear clothing that is comfortable and allows for movement. Some people prefer to dress up for their lesson, some don't. If you are wearing clothing that you don't have to think about, that is the best. Shoes should be secure on your feet with either a leather sole or comparable material. Shoes to avoid wearing are: tennis shoes, flip flops, mules, any shoe with a rubber sole, or sandals with thin straps. Please no exposed nails as it would damage the dance floor. Dance shoes are not necessary to begin but if you really like dancing you will want to purchase dance shoes later. Do not let a sales person or a friend force you into a style of shoes or heel size, color etc... your instructor will tell you exactly what you need for the type of dancing that you are learning.
